Harlem: Home to The Next Generation of Rappers
Harlem has produced some of the biggest rappers the world has ever seen. From Big L & Cam’ron to A$AP Rocky and the rest of the A$AP Mob, Harlem’s impact in hip hop should not be overlooked.
In this video, we’re looking to highlight the next generation of rappers coming out of Harlem that are making an impact.
First up, we have R2R MOE. R2R is one of the top artists to watch in the sexy drill music scene. His unique flow, catchy lyrics, and fire vocals quickly captured the attention of everyone in New York. And when you have the type of network and social media reach that he does, it’s no wonder that everyone throughout the industry is keeping close tabs on him. If I were you just finding him for the first time, the first songs I’d go listen to are “Don’t Miss It”, “Lashing Out” and “Fair 2 Me” … but those are just my personal favorite. At this rate, R2R Moe not only has the potential to be one of the top artists to watch coming out of New York, but one of the top artists to watch in the entire music industry by 2025. So do yourself a favor and stop sleeping.
Next up we have Fergie Baby. After graduating from The Penn State Universitt with a bachelors in criminal justice, Fergie Baby’s natural talent for music started to get recognized all throughout New York. Before you jew it, Fergie Baby dropped songs like Suburbans, Birthday and more, which cemented him as a rising star. Most recently, songs like “VINCE BARTER” along with collaborations with LIFEOFTHOM for “Smoke” further showed the progression he has made over the years. If he keeps up this momentum, don’t be surprised when the entire industry is competing for his music. Also, no body reps Harlem more than Fergie so Again , stop sleeping.
Last but not least, we have 27Delly. 27Delly is a one of kind type of an artist known for his unique blend of trap, R&B, and hiphop sound. Crowned the Prince of Harlem, 27Delly was quoted saying that Harlem has shaped his artistic outlook on his music. This mindset has allowed him to gain millions of streams across DSPs, gain 10s of thousands of followers, and even get his song titled “Signed From Uptown” on the FX hit Tv show “Atlanta”. If you aren’t familiar with 27Delly, I suggest you do so right away or else you’ll be riding the bandwagon once he pops off even more in 2025.
